Corporate governance is what we actually vote for in any election, in my opinion. The issues are just accessories to the main package-which candidate that Corporate media and Big Business have put before us to elect.
This explains why so much voter apathy existed in the past 25 years or so. There really WAS no difference between Brand X and the Name Brand. Interchangeable candidates really had no effect on government, because corporate influence decided which issues were put before the Congress, and marketed to the people.
The link below lays a large part of this on Corporate Media, but really it is all part and parcel of the overall Big Business, whose sole desire is having things THEIR WAY, to paraphrase the old Burger King jingle.
This is the main reason I support Obama, and no other candidate at this juncture in the presidential race. I'm surprised he's gotten so much media coverage, unless it's because they're making money off his popular support.
I don't know about the rest of America, but I for one am sick to death of  CORPORATE INTERESTS running the government for us instead of WE, THE PEOPLE. Since when have they done right by us???
