I would not count Edwards out just yet. He finished ahead of Hillary, which was a surprise and should at the very lease be a confidence booster. With the pre-anointed Clinton coming in 3rd, it shows that the race is still wide open and that anyone can take it.
I was pretty sad that Obama won, Edwards pretty much spent all his time and money there really hoping to win and get the spotlight. It might be the end for him. Guess we just have to wait and see for New Hampshire.
What do you think of Huckabee and Obama winning? I am glad that Obama won - I've really started to like all that he stands for and think the country needs a break from the old school politics and partisanism that Clinton would bring with her. Now I'm not niave enough to think that Obama won't have to deal with that, but at least he won't be the polarizing personality that Clinton will. Not that I don't like Hillary, but the country can't stand any more of that for now.
As for Huckabee, I'm not sure what to say about that. The only thing that comes to mind is that for every single religios zealot and coniving republican that crawls out to vote, we have to match those votes one for one. Let's not assume that 'the other person' will vote or that your vote doesn't count. It does!!!
