Now you're being ridiculous. However, he's stated rather cryptically that he'd make "changes to the Constitution" without further elaboration on the kinds of changes. I sincerely distrust anyone who drops that kind of bomb without a reason.hmm

Huckabee calls for recount

I understand Huckabee's point, though he is losing admirably, thank goodness. The Washington GOP chairman, Mr. Esser, declared McCain the winner when only 87% of the votes were in, and the race was VERY close.
I am very disturbed by the rush to declare winners in the various caucuses, primaries, by over-zealous Party members, and not a few News Media. Sometimes the races between candidates can be very close, and to declare winners before all the votes are counted is ridiculous. If candidates have to send their lawyers to get accurate counts, then we might as well forget the democratic process and make the judiciary the deciding factor in races.

This is off-topic but I have to say it: I'm all for technology, but if we have idiots who don't know how to maintain or troubleshoot electronic voting machines, then for Pete's sake! go back to the good ol' fashioned paper ballots! Keep it simple.

I'm sure that Huckabee thinks he is on some mission from God to become President of the U.S. and eradicate evolutionary theory from our school's classrooms while exterminating infidels around the world.

To be honest, I really don't care if he quits or not - let him waste his money - so long as he doesn't ever become President (or VP). If he does, I'm moving to Australia.

Matt-that's hilarious! Could you use a companion when you move to Australia?
I've always liked their neat accent and odd animals!idea

Mike Huckabee is really starting to bother me. He's well behind McCain in delegates, and it's clear he's only appealing to the evangelical core base. His politics and core base are the very things everyone but him recognizes why there needs to be change.
How is he going to manage the rest of his campaign-by taking churches' collection plate money?
Dogged determination is a good thing, but sometimes reality tells you that YOU bite.
